Camp Jeep 2005

Camp Jeep was defiantly fun and there were Jeep freebies everywhere including the picture of The Jeep Crew. I think I liked the tent with all the classic Jeeps Like these two Jeepsters the most.

Future ride height?

To get the tub off Jerry jacked up the rear and then Bob and Jerry lifted the front While I wound up holding the rear myself (Andrew was initially helping but I stupidly told him that I had it and that he should go help pull..I did not realize that the tub was balanced somehow and the rear was really twice as heavy as i had thought), then Shannon Andrew and DJ pulled the chassis ahead. Thanks Fellas!!!
(Mike heated and removed the body mount bolts for me Thanks Mike!)

The tub comes off

The tub finally came off today with the help of Andrew, Bob, Shannon, Jerry, and DJ.

Before the teardown

This is a pic of my jeep before the teardown, the lift and bigger tires that it will get.

Gotta Love the Wrongler

Operation Aww Shit

The project begins, as of today I have both fenders, grille, hood, and the bumper/brush guard off.

More pics coming soon!

Get Up to "Crawl"

Upon discovering that my 1993 Wrangler had a rather rusty frame at the front and rear driver side and middle passenger side I set out on a quest to either A: get it fixed or B: replace the frame. After several weeks I was able to travel to the great Wabash Auto in Wabash IN (260-563-7393) for $350 I picked up a CLEAN used frame (compared to $1200 new that’s an awesome deal) 2 weeks later and a great deal of cleaning (my parents garage) I started the teardown. I decided to dub this project "Operation Aww Shit" because I plan on saying "Aww Shit" quite often throughout the project.
Note the shirt and the TJ it's pointing at :D
